A New Programme for a New Standard
We are pleased to announce that we are delivering a PG Diploma apprenticeship programme working to the revised Level 7 Senior Leader apprenticeship standard.
Enrolling has now commenced for a cohort start date on 20th September 2021.
This programme is available to employers looking to use the UK Government apprenticeship levy funding band. The total cost of the programme is £15,000, of which, £14,000 can be levy-funded.
A Post-Graduate Diploma (PGDIP) is a postgraduate study option at Level 7 content achieving 120 university credits. The programme itself will take 20 months for students to complete.
For those who complete the PGDIP and then wish to gain a full Master's qualification, there is an option to complete a top-up ‘Work Based Project’ module in order to gain the additional 60 credits required.
This new program combines the Advanced Apprenticeship and the Apprenticeship Standard. The Advanced Apprenticeship qualification is for higher-level management roles and is the only apprenticeship available at this level. The Apprenticeship Standard is for middle management roles and is one of the three apprenticeship frameworks which make up the apprenticeship standard. It is recognised by Ofsted and the Department for Education as an appropriate framework for middle management roles.
The Advanced Apprenticeship qualification provides learners with the opportunity to gain a Level 7 qualification, therefore, it is suitable for middle managers, aspiring leaders, and those already in a leadership role.
