Consalia is delighted to congratulate BT Wholesale on winning a prestigious award at the Comms Dealer Sales and Marketing Awards (CDSMA) 2019. At an event in London, compered by Rugby World-cup winner, Matt Dawson, BT Wholesale won the award for Best Apprenticeship Scheme. This award recognises the company that has introduced, developed and enhanced its own apprentice/training scheme and has provided genuine opportunities for young people to enter the ICT industry and nurture their talents.
BT Wholesale are participants on the Consalia Degree Apprenticeship scheme, with students engaged on a programme to earn a BSc in B2B Sales. The programme is run in conjunction with Middlesex University. BT were a member of the Trailblazer group and were involved in the development of the Apprenticeship standard.
Consalia Academy Director, Louise Sutton comments “We’re delighted that BT Wholesale has been recognised for the introduction of their Apprenticeship programme. They nominated students for the first Apprenticeship cohort and it has been wonderful to see the progress that all the students are making.”
Nick Archer, one of the BT Wholesale Apprentices added “We were up against some tough competition, which makes us more proud for taking the award home! From the perspective of an apprentice who is on BT’s Apprenticeship Scheme, I can say that I receive excellent support and experience from my team within BT Wholesale. Additionally, Middlesex University and Consalia work hard to provide relevant learning for the duration of our degree course.”
